Day 1 - Start trekking from, Lemosho gate - Big Tree Camp
After breakfast, you will be driven to Londorosi Gate for registration before starting the trek. The trail takes you through beautiful forests and offers glimpses of the surrounding plains. You will reach the Lemosho Big Tree Camp where you will camp for the night.

Leaving the forest behind, you will enter the moorland zone of giant heather. The trail gradually treks, providing wide views as you reach the rim of the Shira Plateau. You will camp at "Shira One" in the center of the plateau.

Today, you will ascend with panoramic views, leaving the moorland plateau and walking on lava ridges beneath the glaciers of the Western Breach. After lunch near the Lava Tower junction, you will descend to the bottom of the Great Barranco Valley. The campsite at Barranco Valley offers impressive views.

Following an easy path on compacted scree, you will gain altitude steadily until you reach Barafu Camp. Take time to acclimatize and rest in preparation for the final ascent.

Day 6: Challenge trekking from, Barafu – Summit - Mweka Forest Camp

Begin the ascent in the early hours of the morning. The challenging trek will lead you to Stella Point, where you can enjoy a sunrise over Mawenzi. From there, you can continue to Uhuru Peak if you're feeling strong. Descend to Barafu Camp and further down to Mweka Forest Camp for the night.
