6 Days Climb to Kilimanjaro Adventure with Machame Route

After breakfast, head to the Machame Gate (1,790 m) in Kilimanjaro National Park. Begin the climb through the lush rainforest, spotting wildlife like colobus monkeys. Reach Machame Camp (3,010 m) after 5-6 hours. Dinner and overnight in tents.

Start early and continue the climb, witnessing the landscape change to heath and moorland. Reach Shira Cave Camp (3,845 m) with a stunning view of the mountain. Enjoy the sunset. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Climb about 800 m to Lava Tower (4,640 m) while camping at a slightly higher elevation than the previous night for acclimatization. Pass through the Barranco Valley with unique vegetation. Arrive at Barranco Camp (3,960 m) after 6-7 hours. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Start the day with the climb of the Barranco Wall, guided by your experienced team. Enjoy breathtaking views of the south glacier of Kibo as you traverse the ridge. Have lunch in the Karanga Valley, followed by a 2 to 3-hour climb to Barafu Camp. Rest, have dinner, and prepare for an early night.

Begin the climb around midnight with a light snack. Ascend the screes of Kibo with the help of torchlight for 5 to 7 hours. Reach Stella Point, the crater rim, at 5,730 m. Another 1 to 2-hour climb along the crater ridge takes you to Uhuru Peak, the "Roof of Africa." Witness the stunning 360° view as the sun rises. Descend back to Barafu Camp, enjoy a warm meal, rest, and then continue to Mweka Camp.

Start the day with breakfast and a farewell ceremony from the mountain crew. Descend for 2 to 3 hours through the rainforest to Mweka Gate, where your driver awaits. Return to Meru View Lodge, relax, and celebrate your achievement by the pool.
