Day 1: Moshi - Londorossi gate - Big Tree Camp

Day 2: Mti Mkubwa - Shira 1 Camp
Transitioning from the rainforest, you ascend to Mti Mkubwa, reaching the Shira 1 Camp. The trek spans around 8 kilometers, lasting about 6-7 hours. As you ascend, notice the shift in temperature and landscape, entering the heath and moorland zone.

Day 3: Shira 1 Camp - Lava Tower - Moir Hut
