Day 1: Moshi/Arusha to Machame gate to Machame camp:
Commencing from Moshi or Arusha, the journey begins at the Machame gate. Trekking through vibrant rainforests, you cover approximately 11 km, experiencing a diverse ecosystem. The day's hike is characterized by moderate difficulty, with a gradual ascent that prepares you for the days ahead. The Machame camp, situated at an elevation of 3,000 meters, provides a serene setting to rest and acclimate to the altitude

Day 2: Machame camp to Shira 2 camp
Embarking on a 5-hour hike, you transition from the rainforest to the moorland zone, witnessing a change in vegetation. The route covers approximately 5 km, offering glimpses of the Shira Plateau. As you ascend to Shira 2 camp at 3,850 meters, the landscape transforms, providing a panoramic view of Kilimanjaro's western glaciers.

Day 5: : Karanga to Barafu camp:
This strenuous day covers around 4 km, taking you to Barafu camp at 4,600 meters. The alpine desert landscape sets the stage for the summit push. Rest, hydrate, and prepare for the summit night.

Day 6: Barafu camp to Uhuru Peak (summit point) to Mweka camp:
The summit push begins at midnight, ascending through the night. Covering approximately 5 km, you reach Uhuru Peak at 5,895 meters, witnessing a breathtaking sunrise. Descend to Barafu for a brief rest before continuing to Mweka camp at 3,100 meters, marking the end of an exhilarating summit day.

Day 7: Mweka camp to Mweka gate Back to Moshi:
